Just-in-time means that the right parts needed in production reach production at the time they are needed and only in the amount they are needed. The purpose of the JIT is to maintain a well-attuned, timely correspondence to the market needs. We help organizations create a just-in-time system, based upon pull, one piece flow and leveling. In whatever production environment thinkable.
A Lean, just-in-time system cannot do without available, reliable and performing installations and equipment. Total Productive Maintenance therefore is an essential element of any Lean strategy in an asset-heavy industrial environment. Dumontis helps organizations in setting up and effectuating Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or World Class Maintenance (WCM) initiatives.
