Transform existing Airbus A350 OBF value stream using Lean principles and approaches from the automotive industry, aimed at reduced defects, miss-deliveries and required assembly hours.

Implemented and coached multi-level KPI reviews (team, department and site level); introduced quality wall, self-inspection, trouble-shooting charts, source inspection and kamishibai for problem-solving; transformed value stream into JIT (shipping, assembly and supply) incl. TPAs, heijunka, production and supplier kanban.

60% defect reduction, consistent 100% on-time delivery, improved productivity and increased employee involvement. Initiative won the GKN Gold Award.
